Dachshund owners beware: Yet another dog food recall! Proctor and Gamble posted a voluntary recall on July 30th 2010 to now include their veterinary and some Specialized Dry Pet Foods.
“due to the potential to be contaminated with salmonella.”
This now includes
- Iams Veterinary Dry Formulas
- Eukanuba Naturally Wild
- Eukanuba Pure
- Eukanuba Custom Care Sensitive Skin
All sizes with ‘best by dates’ of 1 July 10 – 1 Dec 11 All UPC codes.

I know a lot of Dachshunds are on special veterinary diets so please check your dogs food to make sure it is not included in the recall.
